Natalie's Droolworthy Regency Crossover Gown
Dear Jennie,This is my favorite Regency-era dress to date. It's your cross-over dress, that Geneece Arnold made up for me last year, but...over the winter I lost 20 pounds and it no longer fit (so sorry, Geneece!), and so I had to rework the whole thing, taking almost all of it apart and handsewing it back together with modifications.
Debra's Jane Austen Society Ensemble
I made this dress for the Jane Austen Society annual Spring gala in Chicago. I altered the pattern to button down the front and to have "slashed" upper sleeves. The pattern is so easy to use and easy to alter that it took me no time at all to make.

Regency Gown Pattern
This is my original Regency gown pattern, modeled after the styles of the middle Regency and particularly appropriate for 1810s impressions. If you're new to this time period, this is the pattern I recommend starting with, as it goes together very easily.

Regency Spencer Jacket/Pelisse Pattern
I created this pattern by pulling research together from several sources (along with customer requests!). I studied a Spencer jacket in the D.A.R. Museum collection and one at the Valentine. I also drew from Janet Arnold’s wonderful Patterns of Fashion to create a versatile pattern for short jackets, long coats, and sleeveless pelisses or short gowns.

Dear Jennie,First I want to thank you for having made such a great pattern! I love to work with it, it is so versatile and it fits so well. Here I have changed the Regency Gown into a bib-front gown and added a shirred bib.

Heather created this gown and bridesmaid's dress for her daughter's wedding. I think the bride looks charming, elegant, and relaxed all at the same time. Thanks so much for sharing these, Heather! (In case you didn't catch them, Heather
Erica's Regal Regency Formals
About a year and a half ago, my entire family planned to join my brother and sister for Thanksgiving at their college in Florida. During the trip, my brother, sister, and I were to attend a formal event together.
Kara's Darling Girl's Regency Dress
I'm an adventurous beginner seamstress. I like to pretend I know what I'm doing -- but in reality, I don't have the faintest clue. I got the regency pattern for me, and made my dress, and I think I attempted to alter it more than my skill would allow
Melanie's Sumptuous Regency Ballgowns
Since the very early days of being a Jane Austen fan, I have longed for the opportunity to dress up in a Regency ballgown. I had made myself some Regency day dresses, but not a ballgown... until we were invited to a
Rachel's Regency Crossover Gown
I have wanted a regency dress for a long time--especially since the plethora of good Austen movies have been made available! My mother purchased "The Elegant Lady's Closet" collection for my Christmas present
Katie's Regency Drawstring Dress
This was a Regency dress I made by playing around with several different patterns I found (one of which was yours). Instead of a button closer in the back I decided to use a drawstring closer and hid part
