I don’t know about you, but Black Friday emails this year were ridiculous. I started getting them two weeks before Black Friday, and the daily reminders got crazier and crazier leading up to this past weekend. I know I deleted at least 75 emails per day—many from brands I’ve never heard of and whose lists I definitely didn’t join. It was actually mentally exhausting to login into email each day. I didn’t want to do that to any of my site visitors or email subscribers, so I stayed quiet.
